Day out the beach with the girlies

So we had multiple "BEACH DAYS" planned throughout the summer, but then the drama of my workplace (Well actually PREVIOUS workplace!) took over and literally the summer flashed before my very eyes. We were determined to squeeze at least 1 beach day in before the end of summer. The day finally came this past Saturday (Sept 19th) and we had a day filled with girl talk, magazines, yummy munchies, and the beautiful sun.

Though my previous employment ended on a sour note, I am so grateful to have met these AWESOME chicks! I am a friendly person and know many people but have only met a handful of true lifelong friends. It is a RARE, RARE occurrence to meet a group of girls and click with them pretty quickly. I feel like I've known these girlies forever. I am truly blessed. I am so proud to call them my friends.

Thank you Kir, Mari, Yvette, & Monique (Sorry you didnt make it to the beach, we missed ya!).

Our 1st Wedding Anniversary

We made it to our 1st wedding anniversary (I can't believe it's been a year). Woohoo! To celebrate we went to Temecula for the weekend. We had a wine tasting, yummy food eating, anniversary celebrating weekend. At one of our winery stops a woman asked us what's the secret to a successful marriage. Though I don't think there is 1 concrete answer, I do know that for Eric and myself communication is the key. We talk a LOT, and I love it. Here's to many more years! CHEERS.
