Strauss House Yard Sale and Lemonade Stand
What started as me having the "Yard Sale" itch, turned into a great cause. Delilah decided to donate all proceeds from her booth to the Red Cross for the Haiti Earthquake Relief fund. She was the cutest, she made sure to inform each customer where there money was going. A very proud moment!

Welcome Abby Strauss!
On January 9th, 2010 we welcomed another member to our family, we named her Abby! She is about 5 years old and is a Dachshund mix. We rescued her from Beagles and Buddies in El Monte. On her very first day here she made herself right at home. She loves to sleep with us and snores very loudly. Abby is a complete love bug and enjoys back scratches. What more can I say other than, we are so happy to have found her!Side note: Were not too sure if Lacey feels the same way.

There is nothing like seeing Rose Floats up close and personal. They are simply breathtaking! I've always wanted to go the day after new years to see the floats lined up on the streets of pasadena, but never had the chance. It was all I expected and more. My fave by far was the Community Garden float. To me it represented so much of what the rose parade means to me....community, family, and happiness! Please take note that I was very excited to take a picture in front of the Mexico float, VIVA MEXICO!

Happy New Year!
Happy 2010! Had a great dinner with Monique and Chris @ Pomona Valley Mining Company! Good food, good service, great company.....tons of people watching! :-)
