The Straussies go to Oak Glen-Yucaipa!

When I think of Oak Glen, I think of cozy, family, and apples! How do I know about Oak Glen you may ask...well as a teenager I attended sleep away camps with the youth group of the church my family attended. I later attended a woman's retreat with my mom and aunts, on the that trip it snowed!

So when I was thinking of a wholesome November family outing for my family....I of course thought of Oak Glen.

Oak Glen is one of Southern California's most scenic spots. Apple orchards cover the slopes laden with blossoms in the Spring and apples in the Fall. The scenery is more like New England, and only 90 minutes from LA on the way to Palm Springs. Visit orchards, taste fresh apples and cider (Hard Cider too!), enjoy hot apple pie at one of the several family restaurants, feed the animals in the animal parks, or browse through some of the many specialty shops in the Glen.
